【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodforthedeterminationofthedensityofnaturalrubberlatexconcentratebetweenthetemperaturesof5℃and40℃.Thestandardisintendedforusewhendensitydeterminationsareusedtocalculatethemassofameasuredvolumeoflatexinlocationswhereitisnotpracticaltoweighdirectlyortocontrolthetempera-tureofthelaboratory.Forsuchpurposes,itisessen-tialthatthedensitybedeterminedonalatexsamplecontainingthesameamountofairasitcontainedwhenthevolumewasmeasured.Therefore,thelatexbulkisallowedtostandforaminimumperiodof24hbeforesamplingtoensuretheremovalofairbubbles.Thedensitydeterminationispreferablymadeatthesametemperatureasthevolumemeasurement,otherwiseacorrectionmustbeap-plied.Thismethodissuitableforalllaticesfromnaturalsources,forsyntheticlatexandforcompoundedorprevulcanizedlatex,aswellasforartificialdispersionsofrubber;however,thetemperaturecorrectiongivenin7.2isnotnecessarilyvalidforallthese.Formeasurementsmadeatstandardtemperatures,ISO8962:1987,Plastics—Polymerdispersions—Determinationofdensityshouldbeused.NOTE1ItisintendedthatfutureeditionsofISO8962willbemodifiedtoincludelatexinthescope.
