【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversequipmentandproceduresforusingnitricacidvaporfordeterminingporosityingoldcoatings,greaterthan0.6m(25in.)inthickness,particularlyelectrodepositsandcladmetalsusedonelectricalcontacts.1.2Thistestmethodisdesignedtoshowwhethertheporositylevelislessorgreaterthansomevaluethat,byexperience,isconsideredbytheusertobeacceptablefortheintendedapplication.1.3AvarietyofotherporositytestingmethodsaredescribedinGuideB765andintheliterature.,OtherporositytestmethodsareTestMethodsB741,B798,B799,andB809.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.ItistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtobecomefamiliarwithallhazardsincludingthoseidentifiedintheappropriateMaterialSafetyDataSheet(MSDS)forthisproduct/materialasprovidedbythemanufacturer,toestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpractices,anddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionsaregiveninSection8and9.4.
